    10 Tips for Better Photography

    March 13th, 2007 • Bookmark on | del.icio.us | Digg It | Reddit

Article by Mike Singh. The principles are sound (must be learned, in fact), but these are not easy “tips” to absorb in one sitting by a beginner. In many sittings, even. Mr. Singh has succeeded, it looks like, in encapsulating the first few years of my photography education into this single article.

There’s a reason good instructionals break things down into chapters, and for the most part, covering only very specific, theoretically isolated concepts in each (and hitting you upside the head with the same concept over and over again the rest of the chapter until you get it). So I wouldn’t hand this article to a beginner.

But I do like browsing through these on occasion. A lot of technical factors come into play in photography, and the couple of minutes or so it takes to skim over these kinds of articles often serve as good refreshers and reminders. Have at it.
